Phi Phi Islands Dive Sites
Novice | 5-35m | Mild currents
Mushroom Rock is the first dive site after the northern tip of Phi Phi Ley, on the west side of the island. A site formed of large pinnacles reaching the surface including the one shaped like a mushroom. Soft coral and large schools of yellowback fusiliers, barracudas, golden trevallies and so on. At the shallow parts it is possible to spot turtles and black tip reef sharks.
Novice | 5-30m | Mild - Moderate currents
Maya Bay Corner is a nice and shallow dive site with weak currents. The reef consists of hard coral, boulders and small caves with creatures peaking out of them. Smaller schools of fish are regular inhabitants at this dive site. Because of mild to moderate currents and depths as shallow as 5m, Maya Bay Corner is suitable for divers of all levels.
Novice | 5-20m | Mild - Strong currents
Red Wall is a perfect dive site for wall diving. Steep wall with narrow passages to swim-trough makes it extra ordinary and creates an exiting twist for your dive. Large fusilier and snapper schools are common sight at Red Wall. The wall is covered in both soft and hard coral. Just like the other dive sites of this Phi Phi trip, Red Wall is also a great spot to dive for beginners.
